GRAFFITI
This project was a photoshop photo merge series. I love graffiti and was inspired by all the amazing pieces I found throughout downtown Indy, Fountain Square and Broad Ripple. I was drawn to the vivid colors and unique images and wanted to capturing and display them in a way that honored their creation before they were removed or destroyed.
After accumulating a vast amount of graffiti photos I then set to work on how to incorporate them into my work. I decided on wrapping the aluminum spray paint cans that I placed in industrial and urban settings to illustrate the environment in which graffiti is usually found. This series is very special to me and these extremely large prints decorate my personal home.
